The Central/Eastern Wayne Alumni is organized:

• to provide scholarships to deserving seniors who plan to pursue higher education at accredited colleges, universities, or trade/technical schools. 
• to inspire lifelong learning by enhancing the lives of youth in support of furthering their education through scholarships for qualified graduates as determined by the Scholarship Committee. 
• to be an admirable organization through giving moral and financial support to the charitable sources in keeping with the primary purpose. 
• to preserve fellowship among members and others devoted to alma maters for Central High School and Eastern Wayne High School of Goldsboro, North Carolina.
